Subscribe via RSS and use an RSS reader?

About three years obtaining RSS subscribers was one of the main objectives for any site based on the content, including blogs. The reason? Web more visitors (mostly tech sufficient ones at least) would use RSS readers to update with the latest news and decide which sites they visit.

Over time, however, some people stopped using RSS readers and by subscribing to the site via RSS, to the point that media proclaimed the death of RSS.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that RSS is dead or dying, because I think that many people still it uses, and even if RSS readers are not only popular more RSS can be used for many other cool things.

That said, I do think that less and less people use RSS and RSS readers loses some of its important for based on the content of the sites. I wanted to get some numbers to back this, though, so I decided to run a survey.

The question is: you still subscribe to the sites via RSS and use an RSS reader to update your favorite sites and news sources? Your vote and leave a comment if you want to expand your thoughts.
