4 Tips for Pitching Guest Posts like a Pro

Since the launch of my blog in 2011 in mid-May, I invited posted on a number of blogs in a list in the blogging and online marketing niches (including ProBlogger, MarketingProfs and daily Blog Tips). In doing so, I have learned important lessons in guest posts getting accepted the big blogs.

But instead you boring with the usual advice (choose the good blog, search the blog, pitch quality content etc.). I attack a specific aspect of the display guest - paves the way. If you want to learn more about other aspects of the guest, see Displaying Ali Luke post, how to get your accepted Guest messages each time.

I have identified four important elements that can significantly increase your chances of having your accepted article or pitch.

I had read ProBlogger for over a year before I the acute invited a position. By any measure, I did my research. Still, my judgment of what would be accepted was broadly.

The post that I thought would be better for ProBlogger was rejected, as it was then that I thought would be better. I have less to be published has been accepted. Have I not launched three ideas post at the time, I would have never known. I have had similar experiences with other editors.

So the lesson here is at several positions. You can guess what the editor will find interesting. Cease to be a mind-reader. Place your trust in probability.

If start you several pieces, not just include them as attachments. A list of blogs get a ton of heights each week and do not have the time to read through them all. Make it easy for the editor and write a short description of each piece.

Here is an overview of the sample:

The pimp, the grocer and wages: snap your topics using the power of the unexpected

An article on how human beings humans are connected to lend attention to unexpected events and how bloggers can use unexpected details to write more worthy attention headlines.

Sending of the lands of the article, rather than articles, also benefits you. You do not have to have before written position he pitched. You he pitch, see if the blogger is interested, and then write based on their feedback.

Pitch multiple positions with contours is the most important thing that allowed me to get more accepted messages. He cut the guesswork.

As publishers are busy, they do not have the time to imagine how your post relates to their niche. Your lawn should be specific to their blog right from the start. The easiest way to make your position appear more specific is to use the right language.

This is where your search come into play. Most of the sites target specific keywords. ProBlogger, for example, target keywords related to blogging. So if you are tongue on this site, use the word "blog" instead of "Web site" and "after" instead of "article".

Fixes even cosmetic as they can make your more attractive land. As Georgina explains it me: ", as search engines, would like to see [keywords] used in the post, I am considered." There are a lot of online content that is relevant for the blogs, but unless it is expressly and explicitly linked to blogs and bloggers, we cannot accept it. »

Include in your presentation of your web autour writing samples. Ideally, you want the list of your three main pieces, with at least one of them (if not all) on one site other than your own.

This will help the editor to make a better idea of the quality and style of your writing. Even if they do not read, it shows the social evidence. It shows that other blogs have found your interesting writing.

Here's the email template that I use to make my posts invited. This should make the advice above together in a plan of action that you can use the next time that you submit a post to a blog.

Hello [Publisher name],

My name is Basanti Aman, and I am a writer of psychology of the consumer of the Australia. I am interested in writing a post to your blog.

Are you currently accepting guest posts on your blog?

If Yes, I have the following ideas to consider.

-Christina Aguilera error: you say ironic when you mean a coincidence?
An article on how many people confuse ironic with a simple coincidence. It defines this as ironic is, gives examples of situations that are often not identified as ironic. He then goes to discuss the importance of this distinction of bloggers, including to those who submit their articles to other publications.

-The pimp, the grocer and wages: snap your topics using the power of the unexpected
An article on how human beings humans are connected to lend attention to unexpected events and how bloggers can use unexpected details to write more worthy attention headlines.

-Idea 3
