FeedBurner vs. Aweber: do you really need an automatic reply for your Blog?

When it comes to turn casual visitors into regular readers there are two main options - Aweber and FeedBurner.

FeedBurner uses a technology focused on the feed (RSS and Atom) to send updates to the subscribers of your blog. Owned by Google (Google bought in 2007 for $ 100 million), FeedBurner is one of the largest feed flashes on the Internet.

It works like this: a site visitor subscribes to your diet and whenever you add a new position, a message is sent to alerting them of the addition. The Subscriber is in need of special software (feed reader) to access food.

AWeber is a technology focused on the email that allows you to send your subscribers automated e-mail messages. It works similarly to food but requires special feed reading software, not only an e-mail address for you to subscribe to a blog.

AWeber is the most popular auto response on Internet software system. Other popular brands include Infusionsoft, MailChimp and GetResponse.

FeedBurner is free, Aweber pay: The main advantage of the use of FeedBurner instead of Aweber (or other stakeholders-auto) on your blog is that FeedBurner is not cost anything. AWeber, on the other hand, can cost from $ 20 to $ 100 per month depending on the number of subscribers you have.FeedBurner take less effort: Blogging platforms more popular (WordPress, Blogger, TypePad etc) publish feeds automatically. There is more to do on top of publish a post anything. The key you thing cannot do with a power supply is sequence messages: you cannot create a series of messages to send to your subscribers. This means that your subscribers only receive alerts for items that are added after that that they subscribe.

For example, say you post four articles over a period of four weeks, and a visitor subscribes to your blog after the third week. This means that they will only get alerted on the fourth position and will not receive positions one to three, as shown in the image below.

Now, if you post sensitive information (news or developments) on your blog, this regardless. But if you publish content to Evergreen, or if you want to take your readers of blog with a specific set of messages, the ability of sequence is critical.

Automatic allow you to do exactly this. You can create a sequence of messages, how long the wait is between each message value, and the auto response will run that you for each Subscriber, regardless of when they join, as shown below.

A third factor in determining which system to use is your audience. If you have tech-fuels public, a system of email such as Aweber is probably better for you.

Tech-savvy public, on the other hand, FeedBurner may be better. Technically people are more likely to use and prefer to get their updates from the blog through stream. The best way to find out what your audience wants is to have two options on your site for a month and see what your readers prefer. You may find that it is useful to have both.

If you have a small budget, publish the time-sensitive information, and are aimed at an audience of tech-savvy, FeedBurner will be sufficient for your blog.

If, on the other hand, you want to take your customers with a sequence of messages and control delays between messages, then it is best suited to your Aweber blog.
