5 Issues crucial to ask before deciding to Blog in another language

Most of us, international bloggers learned virtually everything we know in English, simply because the community of bloggers, is huge, active and available. We do not have to look far to learn all sorts of little tips and tricks to make our blogs more attractive to write better content, to interact better, etc.

So we should all blog in English should not we? The market is huge! Nahhh it is often easier to blog in our own tongue, because the words better flow, we know local expressions and we know what makes people laugh (or not!).

Personally, I discovered the Web in 1999, learned everything I could in English (and still do every day), started my online business English and my day's work in 2003. But then I decided to take a turn 180 degrees and build a presence online in French, and it works very well.

The decision to do so was not easy, but I do not regret it a second! And today I help entrepreneurs make the decision even when it is to their advantage.

From, growth, and monetize a blog in a language other than English is not for everyone, so I have compiled a list of five questions, you can ask before making a decision.

I know, this sounds like a really stupid question, but it is important! Sometimes bloggers want to start a blog in another language, simply because they think that this will be easy to get lots of traffic (SEO is generally easier in other languages). But often, it is a bad idea!

Why? Because if you decide to start a blog in French when you do not speak French, you will be faced with these problems:

Customer service: How is that you will manage the emails you receive from the blog ask you questions? They will be in a language you can't read... easy!Comments: How you will decide if a comment is a good to publish on your blog or if you cannot read and understand?Quality of content: Same problem here: how you write quality posts, if you do not speak the language? I know that some bloggers using an automatic translator, but this is not the way forward for long-term benefits!

There is a workaround solution: to outsource everything. But what is the point when you begin all right? Especially if this is your first blog, you want to learn all of the building, promoting and monetizing strings, so that you do not want to outsource the work don't even know you how to do it in the first place!

Even if from a blog in another language is often a good idea because there is less competition, it does not guarantee success! You must always do research to see if there is a market for the object you want to talk about on your blog.

The beautiful thing is that some tools this great work for the research in English also work in any single other language out there! For example, you can use the Google Keyword external tool to research your niche, and then select a specific language and a specific country. In this way, you get an idea of the application of your subject in your own local market.

Then, you must look at monetization options. This is important because in a smaller market with no competition is great, but if there is no affiliate program to help you monetize your blog, you will need to think of anything else to make money!

First of all, seek a program in your own language, because they are easy to use blog to make money. But don't despair if there is not many good quality affiliate programs - it is not to say that you can not monetize your blog!

If affiliate marketing is not an option, you can always turn to the sale of advertising space, adding Adsense to your blog and (my favorite) sell your own products/infoproducts on the site.

A way to build an audience more quickly for your blog is to create joint ventures with other bloggers in writing quality posts which will be published on other blogs in your niche as a guest author. To be able to do so, it must already be some influential blogs in your niche!

Even if he has not personally stop me to start a blog in a niche, there is no other blogs in the same niche or the same market you can guest post to, it may take more time to build traffic and authority for your blog.

If the answer is Yes, it could be an idea very lucrative to start a blog in another language!

Let me explain.

If you're blogging in a niche where there is a difference of huge time of knowledge between the English and another language, you have a real advantage: you can learn everything in English before everyone, and then watch as a hero by teach in another language and be the first to do so.

Blog in another language can be fun and lucrative, if you are in the right market or niche to the right. If you have been blogging in English and you want to take advantage of the fact that you speak another language to build blogs on the same topic, why not?

Just make sure that you understand the situation and you may be on your way to the addition of new revenue streams for your business to blog online!
