How to recruit evangelists for your Blog.

Today, every successful blogger knows that diversify the sources of traffic is a practice, that we cannot afford to ignore. Search engines update their algorithms to search all the time, social media sites keep rising and falling and new sources of traffic keep appearing and disappearing.

To ensure your business continuity in the long term on the Web and to be able to live with these changes, you need a team of evangelists that can help you to market your content each time a new traffic source appears.

For example, if you had a blog before the time of Twitter, and then Twitter came into effect, you loyal evangelists that can help you develop a strong presence on the social network, that tweet your messages, retweet your tweets, and follow you.

In this post I will tell you about the powerful and effective methods that can help you to recruit evangelists for your blog.

How many times you ignored a mail, a comment or a request for assistance from a reader? Each of these persons may become potential evangelists when you provide the assistance that they need.

When I receive a mail from someone, ask for help I do my best to respond on time. If to say something like "Thank you", he said, or if it does not answer to everything, it did consider him an evangelist. But if he replies saying that he is very grateful, I request that he become an evangelist for my blog.

Of course, I'm not asking him to do this in a direct way; instead I say something like: "you're welcome." If you want to help me thus, you can do that by sharing my content. »

People who send you emails thank you are evangelists. When they use powerful words, you know that they are already existing evangelists who are eager to do what you ask. Never be ashamed of anyone asking a favour if you really helped this person through your blog.

I have often just through blogs that have any form of content, no method of comment on a post, and no method of communication that can help you to be the owner of the blog.

Of course, you can disable one or two features for technical reasons, but this does not mean that you can not keep at least a channel of communication open between you and the persons that could become evangelists. After all, if these persons cannot reach you, you will be ever able to recruit their.

Understand this fact, I used to pitch more than 30 minutes to respond to e-mails, and sometimes I have allowed many messages to accumulate in my Facebook inbox. After understanding my error, I began to spend more than an hour per day, respond to emails and searching for potential evangelists.

Even if you keep all channels of communication open between you and your readers, there are still many potential evangelists who offer help unless you ask them to do so.

An advertisement that States that you need help of loyal readers to your forums, your blog or on your Facebook page.

Once you have a team of evangelists, you can request to share your content and to promote on the sources of most recent potential traffic.Maintain an excel file with the names and emails of your evangelists, so that you can communicate with them when you want.Keep the search for potential evangelists and keep their number growing all the time.

Don't forget: successful blogging is to establish a connection with your faithful at a deep level readers so they can help your blog enter light.

The people who believe in you should be treated as if they were precious treasure. You do not want to overload people with tasks and ask them to walk away from you.

If you have requested help evangelist, make sure that you don't ask him once more for a reasonable period of time. In the Excel sheet where you keep the names and contact information of your evangelists, take notes so that you can verify that those who have been contacted before, and which have not.

In addition, repay favors your evangelists has given you, even if you have initially helped. For example, if you sell products or areas of membership, give people free access to some of your products.

This will help to increase their loyalty even more, and they will never walk away from your blog. The key to keep in mind is not more that people can tolerate, otherwise you will risk losing request.

And the next time you need help, ask the fair evangelists indirectly, for example, by announcing on your fan page that you need help with a task. Only those who really want to help another time will be get back to you, so you can be assured that you will not overburden anyone.
