Safely store your Documents in the cloud with Splarchive

Splarchive is a new storage file as service coverts your documents in PDF format and stores them then to always in the cloud. They promise that your documents will always remain "" safe, private and are never exceeded. "" The documents are encrypted via AES (Advanced Encryption Standard), so you do not have to worry about the security of your private files.

The main goal of Splarchive is to safely archive your files and documents for you, but you can also search your documents and display them in the site. You can also download on your computer in a zip file.

It's really easy and free start. Everything you need to enter is your name, email, and desired password. Everyone starts with 20 MB of free space. If you need more space, you can upgrade Splarchive Pro; You will need to contact them for pricing.

It is very easy to get your documents into your Splarchive account. All you need to do is attach the document to an e-mail and send it to upload@splarchive.com. There is a 10 MB file size limit and cannot download documents protected by password (this is available only in Pro version).

Given that the emails are processed every 15 minutes, it can take a bit for it appears. In my personal experience, I've waited more than an hour and still did not see my documents on the site. It is the only con I found so far.

You can access your files from any device (see view iPad below) by going to the Splarchive website.

Currently you can download the most common types of Microsoft Office files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF files, electronic messages HTML and website URL.) Support for other file types is added in the future.

At the moment, it is not a way to delete documents within the interface, but you can send an email to the support if you want something deleted. Remember that once a document is deleted, you cannot retrieve; It disappeared forever.

In my opinion, honest, I think that Splarchive is useful, but I do not see how it is better or different to a service like Exchange or a new iCloud service of Apple.

What do you think?
