First, I wondered why any who would be interested to hear extracts little of my life, and what I learned from my experiences. But after that I started to write in my own voice, an amazing thing happened: people began to react.
I have not been blogging long, but I have already learned how better blog. Here are five good reasons why you, too, must be designed to be authentic instead of generic.
There is not much on, you can write that someone else does not already cover. But by bringing your unique under the heading personal angle, you can add something new to the discussion.
Rachel Meeks, the voice behind the small notebook, offers this view in his ebook, Blogging Simple: less time on the computer, better blogging:
"Everything you could possibly write a written on before, but none of these ideas have been written on your point of view." No one else has this special combination of life experiences that influence the way you think. You can build a single thread, personal in each story. »
When tell you people a little about yourself and your experience, it is easier to transmit your message. It gives your readers a context - a framework in which to understand what you try to say.
Gretchen Rubin, the happy writer of the happiness Project, found that she "often draw [s] more highly idiosyncratic experiences a person" than it does to "sources that detail universal principles or cite up-to-date studies". This is why she regularly publishes interviews with "interesting people about their insights on happiness."
If you want to get your message across, it allows to share your "experiences highly idiosyncratic" with your readers.
The opening and to tell people a little about yourself, in your own words and your own voice, gets people interested and engaged. They want to jump and join the conversation!

When I started blogging, believing that I heard an echo... blogs of others. I had read so many other people of writing that I had forgotten the sound of my own voice.
What I wish that I stumbled on more sooner was this notice of Tsh Oxenreider, editor in Chief of the single Mom and founder of simple media living:
"Be you." Write like you. It is more fun way. You definitely stand with it more long, and people will benefit from read you more. »
Once I changed my style of blogging to write my own perspective, a small miracle happened. Writing blog posts suddenly became incredibly easy.
When you write as yourself, not writing more hard work. It is just telling a story to your friends... and is not very difficult at all.
Blogging in your own voice can put you on the path of introspection. When you open and let your personality shine through your blog, you can learn more about yourself with each post.
Just ask Arsene Hodali from The Good Life? | dancePROOF, who blogs just as much for himself as he does for others. He found that blogs can help you get your ideas in order"and"find yourself ".
Honest blogging "you strength to... be specific and take sides," he wrote. "And in doing so, it you discover yourself."
